Students of Medical Faculty No. 2 joined the community support initiative “YaMariupol”
Recently, students of Medical Faculty No. 2 of Uzhhorod National University took part in the celebration of Mariupol Day, which recently took place at the Uzhhorod branch of the public organization “YaMariupol.”
The event became a warm space for unity, mutual understanding, and support. The students prepared a colorful cultural program: Himashri and Chhaya performed Indian national songs, Diya sang in Ukrainian, Dipshikha talked about the outstanding Indian public figure, artist, and nature conservationist Zubin Garga, and Sruti Mulail captivated the audience with her masterful performance of the classical Indian dance Bharatanatyam.

Many students came to support the performance, creating an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and unity. Active young people from the Ukrainian Leadership Academy in Uzhhorod also joined the meeting. The event ended with a joint master class on the elements of Indian dance and a friendly tea party with all participants.
Such initiatives not only promote intercultural dialogue, but also help to restore the emotional state of Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes because of the war.

It is events like these that help create a space for mutual understanding, kindness, and mutual support. The participation of foreign students in such events proves that culture and art can unite hearts, overcoming any borders. Through joint efforts, we are building an environment of mutual respect, support, and the pursuit of peace.
