UzhNU is one of the first in the Transcarpathian region to have held the public tender through «Prozorro» system

Uzhhorod National University took part in the public electronic procurement system Prozorro pilot project. Developed on the initiative of NGOs, IT-companies and commercial electronic platforms and supported by state authorities of Ukraine, «Prozorro» system aims to make public spending  transparent and effective and prevent corruption through public monitoring and have a wider range of suppliers.

The so called subthreshold purchases are carried out through «Prozorro» (under 200 thousand UAH for goods, services and 1.5 million - for performed services). Sale and purchase procedure through «Prozorro» system is the following: a customer provides the information about the desired product, and a supplier provides their proposal. 3 rounds of bids are conducted in the form of an auction during which the price is reduced.  No one can see who the supplier is until the procedures are completed. The winner is the supplier who offers the lowest price. The customer has the right to decide whether to sign the contract depending on the documents submitted by the supplier.

 UzhNU joined the project and started with a purchase of simple but always necessary goods for the university - A4 and A3 format office paper. The total amount of the purchase was 31,044 UAH. In the future, the university is planning to expand the range of goods bought via «Prozorro» and actively use the system.
