Scientists from three countries thought over prevention of emergencies
Closing conference as part of the project "Space system to protect the environment from emergencies - cross-border system of natural emergency phenomena prediction with the help of satellite technologies in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine" implemented by SHEI “UzhNU” was held on December 18th, 2015. Participants of the conference summed up the results of two years’ work and agreed on further cooperation.
Over the last two years, the technology of creating a dynamic map of atmospheric changes based on the network of active reference stations located in partner countries has been developed in Ukraine for the first time. This technology can be applied in other regions covered by the networks of GNSS reference stations.
There are 2 GNS and weather stations in Transcarpathia which allow recording the atmospheric condition every second, especially the humidity changes. The project created the database which is automatically updated and helps monitor atmospheric condition (the change in the dynamics of humidity in the atmosphere) over the selected cross-border areas in real time.
