Activity of the university centers for shared use of scientific equipment has been discussed at the retreat of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
A retreat of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was held at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine this week. Professor Ihor Studenyak, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of UzhNU, took part in the event. He told the participants of the meeting about the new opportunities for scientific research at UzhNU which appeared with the opening of the center for shared use of scientific equipment.
The main discussion topic was the activity of 14 university centers with scientific equipment and the prospects of creating new ones. The university developments of particular interest included the integrated monitoring system of forest protection against fires, innovative technologies of forest resources accounting, remote monitoring system of nitrogen nutrition process with the help of UAVs, agriculture biologization technology and cultivation of phyto-energy crops, electronic maps of the land used, electronic advisory system, plastination of biomaterials, device for artificial insemination of bee queens, etc.
