UzhNU scientists participated in the International Congress on Cell Biology
The other day a delegation of Uzhhorod National University, consisting of the Vice Rector for Academic Policy and Research professor Ihor Korol, assistant professors of the entomology and biodiversity conservation department of the biological faculty Ludmyla Symochko and Vladyslav Mirutenko, participated in the International Cell Biology Congress, which took place from the 11th to the 14th of June in the city of Baia Mare (Romania). UzhNU was one of the co-organizers of the event.
Several sections worked during the congress, where the current issues in the fields of cell and molecular biology, nanobiotechnology were discussed, practical application of molecular genetics techniques in medicine, biology and ecology were considered.
A working meeting of the scientists of Romania, Ukraine and Hungary will also be held in Satu Mare in the near future. The goal of the meeting is to discuss the implementation of the trilateral project within the frameworks of international cooperation between higher educational institutions.
