UzhNU hosted the delegation of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy, Kosice (Slovakia)
A meeting of representatives of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice with the leadership of Uzhhorod National University took place on Thursday, January 11th, 2018. The delegation of the Slovak university was represented by its Vice-Rector, professor Zita Faiksova, Ph.D., the Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany, Associate Professor Jarmila Eftimova, Ph.D and Erasmus coordinators Monika Garčárová and Libuša Bodnárová. The main topic of the meeting was Erasmus+student exchange program.
The Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka and Vice-Rector for Academic Policy, Research and International Relations Myroslava Lendel noted the importance of student exchange between the universities, and also discussed the possibility of implementing joint cooperation projects with their Slovak colleagues, in particular. summer school at the high-mountain biological base "Kolochava".
Slovakian colleagues also met with students and postgraduates of the Biological and Medical Faculties of UzhNU, who are going to the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in early February 2018. Students were able to get the information about studying and staying at the university and about the subjects taught in Slovakia.
