On December 12th, a unique exhibition "To Ukraine, Freedom and Human Dignity!" was opened in the reading room of the Scientific Library of Uzhhorod National University. The event was organized by T.Lehotskyi Transcarpathian Regional Museum with the support of the Transcarpathian branch of "Black Tulip", whose activities involve looking for the bodies of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the battlefield.

"The exhibition is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukrainian independence and consists of three parts, which depict the most important events. The first part is made up of proprietary documents and exhibits that tell the story of the struggle for independence of Ukraine, the second part is telling about the events of the Maidan, the third one is assigned to the objects that were found on the battlefields in the east of Ukraine"- says the employee of T.Lehotskyi Regional Museum, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Association "Prosvita" Volodymyr Pipash.

After the opening ceremony, everyone had a chance to get acquainted with the exhibits. Among them there are original leaflets and newspapers telling about the struggle for independence of Ukraine in Transcarpathia (1989-1991), photographs, documents and symbolic objects from Transcarpathian and Kyiv Maidans (2013-2014), as well as personal items that belonged to ATO fighters (2014-2016).
