Final presentation of "Roma Studies" at UzhNU was attended by ethnomusicologist from the University of Pittsburgh (USA)

Just before Easter the final presentation of the integrated programme "Roma studies" took place at UzhNU. On the first day, the work was focused on the meeting with students, on the second day a methodological workshop was held, which was attended by lots of visitors from other universities of Ukraine.

The programme was presented by Ph.D. in history, associate professor Mykhaylo Zan; a teacher of the highest category, high achiever of education of Ukraine Yevheniya Navrotska; Ph.D. in history Natalia Zinevych and lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences Myroslav Horvat and Petro Habryn.

On the first day, the meeting was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Roma students were also invited to the presentation; however, they couldn’t attend it for various reasons. Such scientists and  teachers as Oleksandr Belikov - a Roma history researcher, Ph.D. of DonNU (the university which is now in exile in Vinnitsa); Natalia Belikova -, a historian, sociologist and religious scholar, who has also been engaged in Roma issues for many years; Mykhaylo Oslon – an employee of the Institute of Slavic Studies of RAS.
