Dear colleagues!

 

We invite you to take part in the International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference "OPEN SCIENCE OF UKRAINE: VISIONARY DISCUSSION IN THE CONDITIONS OF MARTIAL LAW", which will be held at Uzhhorod National University and online, 27-29 September 2023. 

The conference is included in the list of international, all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences of higher education graduates and young scientists in 2023 (Letter of IMZO dated January 10, 2023 No. 21/08-9).

 

Conference languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish.

 

 The conference will be held in a mixed format: offline at the Uzhhorod National University and online on the Google Meet platform.

 

A collection of scientific papers (electronic version) is planned to be published based on the results of the conference. 

All registered participants will receive an electronic certificate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS

 

1. Original abstracts that have not been previously published are accepted for publication. 

2. The volume of abstracts is up to 2 pages of A4 format, including tables and a list of references. 

3. Text editor - Microsoft Word, file format - doc or docx, font Times New Roman; size - 14; line spacing - 1.5. Margins: 1.5 cm on all sides. 

4. Elements of the title: the surname, initials of the author(s), academic degree, academic title are indicated in the middle, the name of the institution, city, e-mail, ORCID (if available) are indicated on a new line. The full name of the author should be bolded and underlined. The title of the abstract should be in capital letters, and the main text should be indented. At the end of the paper, a list of references should be provided in accordance with the international standard APA. References to the sources used should be given in the order of mention in the text. 

5. The structure of the abstract should contain logically presented material: keywords, introduction, purpose, results, conclusions, prospects for further research, conflict of interest. The following elements are not allowed in the abstract: images, graphs, diagrams.

6. The authors are responsible for grammatical errors, the content of the text of publications, and the reliability of scientific results. 

7. The text is checked for plagiarism. Abstracts are rejected if plagiarism is detected. The abstracts are also rejected if the level of similarity exceeds 50% or if the formatting of the abstract does not meet the established requirements. If plagiarism is detected, only one correction opportunity is given.

8. One author can submit no more than 2 abstracts and 2 reports. 

9. The Organising Committee reserves the right to select abstracts in accordance with the conference theme and the requirements for the design of materials.

10. It is forbidden to use Russian authors in the list of references.

11. Abstracts are accepted until 25 September 2023.

The collection of abstracts will be sent out no later than the end of November 2023.

You can submit original scientific articles to scientific professional publications included by the Ministry of Education and Science in the Register of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine - https://mon.gov.ua/ua/nauka/nauka/atestaciya-kadriv-vishoyi-kvalifikaciyi/naukovi-fahovi-vidannya              

                            

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS

 

1. Presentations are accepted in ppt, pptx, PDF formats. 

2. The title of the presentation is signed as follows: Name of the speaker - title of the report.

3. Presentations should be submitted through the registration form.

4. The time limit for the presentation is up to 10 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions and answers.

5. We ask the authors of publications to inform the organising committee in what form you will participate in the conference (online or offline).

If you have chosen the online option, please record a video report of up to 10 minutes (in .mp4 or .avi format, with an extension of at least 1360x768) and send it to rmv@uzhnu.edu.ua with the note "Presentation for the conference (with the author)" - by 21 September 2023.
