Сhildren’s swimming tournament was held at the swimming pool of UzhNU
On the 12th of December the swimming pool of UzhNU sports compleх hosted children's swimming tournament "Ready, steady, go with Santa Claus". The children born in 2006 and younger ones competed with each other.
"For the fourth time this year our permanent partner the swimming sports club "Na start!" organizes a large-scale competition at the sports complex of UzhNU - comments the director of the sports complex Andriy Kurta. - In late October, we held a nationwide swimming competition Grand Prix "West", and today children participate in a traditional winter event".
According to Andriy Kurta, in the last two months the swimming pool was less often used by groups, therefore there appeared more opportunities for residents of Uzhhorod to swim individually. "When there was opened a swimming pool in one of the districts of Uzhhorod, we were a bit worried because some coaches moved with the children trained by them there. Having analyzed recent months’ revenues we saw that the changes that happened in September, October and November didn’t influence our revenues. We encouraged individual visitors including students, university employees and residents of Uzhhorod to use our swimming pool. By the way, we found the way to allow ATO participants improve their health free of charge twice a week”.
The swimming pool of the sports complex of UzhNU will be opened the whole winter including holidays, except December, 31 and January 1, 6 and 7, when the water will be changed and other maintenance works will be done.
