Students of UzhNU joined the celebration on the occation of the 78th anniversary of Carpatho-Ukraine

March, 15th is the day of proclamation of independence of Carpatho-Ukraine. This event is first of all associated with the figure of Avgustyn Voloshyn, the feats of heroes who built their own state and also the tragedy which left its unforgettable mark in our history.

This year, on the day when we celebrated the anniversary of the landmark event in the history of our region, Nezalezhnosti embankment of Uzhhorod was full of people who came to commemorate the heroes. A lot of conscious townspeople came to lay flowers to the monument to the Hero of Ukraine, the President of Carpatho-Ukraine Avgustyn Voloshyn. Among them there were the leaders of the region and the city, representatives of law enforcement and security agencies, the military, social activists and students of Uzhhorod National University.

 After laying flowers, the solemn event continued by the memorial "Krasne Pole" near the town of Khust. The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the region, towns and rayons, representatives of public organizations, law enforcement agencies, the military, ATO participants and clergy.
