A lecture for masters of history
Within the framework of the course ‘Grants, Scholarships, Internships in Pedagogical Activity’, which is taught for 1st year Master's students of History (Assoc. Prof. Y. Danilets) of the Faculty of History and International Relations, a guest lecture was given by the Head of the International Relations Department of the SHEI ‘UzhNU’, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Svezhentseva. The lecturer described the multifaceted work of the Department of International Relations, which is aimed at cooperation with a large number of partners on different continents, told about the current competitions that are currently being implemented at the university. Students received interesting information about the opportunities to participate in the following programmes: Erasmus+, SAIA, Visegrad Fund, Fulbright Programme, etc.
The speaker also focused on educational projects co-funded by the European Union, in particular, she emphasised the relevance of the goal of the international project ‘Rethinking Higher Education in a Digital Context and Implementing a Common Inclusive and Green Framework Based on EU Best Practices and Policy Recommendations’ RE-DIRECTION, which is being implemented by UzhNU in partnership with other leading universities of Ukraine and foreign partners from Germany, Greece and Georgia.
The presentation demonstrated the growth of international cooperation of UzhNU in recent years, the signing of cooperation agreements with many universities from different countries, and project work. Oksana Ivanivna stressed the importance of teaching this discipline at the faculty for the formation of a future teacher and scientist.
At the end of the lecture, a discussion was organised, during which master's students had the opportunity to ask questions.
