A discussion lecture entitled “Sexual relations as a method of communication in a couple” was held at UzhNU
What is sexuality, how does one person's brain “read” another person's sexuality, when should one consult a psychologist or sexologist – answers to these and other questions were discussed at a discussion lecture entitled “Sexual relations as a method of communication in a couple,” which was recently held at Uzhhorod National University.
The lecture was given by Viktoriia Symulyk, a social educator at the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance, and Oksana Smuk, a candidate of psychological sciences and associate professor at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences at UzhNU. More than 40 students and teachers from the university attended the lecture.

The meeting was initiated by the Center for Innovation and Development of UzhNU. The director of the center, Alona Almashii, says: "The issue of sex education is important and is receiving increasing attention. Sex education for young people significantly reduces crime rates and the risk of violence. Therefore, I am pleased that everything went exactly as planned. We communicated in a warm atmosphere, asked many ‘uncomfortable’ questions, shared experiences, and received very positive emotions from the event.

During the lecture, the methods of self-discovery were also discussed, and students received advice and literature to read for a better understanding of sex education.
