Сooperation between universities and local self-government authorities, youth organizations and businesses was discussed at the breakout session of the International Consortium of Universities

The first breakout session of the International Consortium of Universities was dedicated to the topic of cooperation of universities with local self-government authorities, youth organizations, and businesses. The first report was delivered by Zoltan Szenes, a state administrator of the Department of Social and Public Education of the City Council of Nyiregyhaza (Hungary). He spoke about cooperation between city authorities and three higher educational institutions in the framework of joint public and educational projects. He also touched upon the issue of involvement of university professionals and students in public activities and the promotion of the development of higher education in this region of Hungary by the city authorities.

The rector of Technical University of Kosice, Professor Stanislav Kmet’ and vice-rector, Professor Vladimir Modrak spoke on "Technology Transfer Ecosystem in Technical University of Kosice". The rector also told about student startup projects at the university, in particular, developed by the students from Ukraine.
