The possibilities provided for scientists by Horizon Europe were discussed at UzhNU
On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, there was a meeting with research and teaching staff, representatives of the research department of Uzhhorod National University to discuss the possibilities provided by the EU’s research and innovation funding programme Horizon Europe as well as the usage of the EU GREEN resources (European Universities Alliance for Sustainability). The meeting was attended by representatives of the Faculties of Dentistry, Biology, Physics and Medical Faculty No. 2, as well as employees of the Research and Educational Center of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology of Mucous Membranes and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Chemistry and Ecology.
Information about the opportunities to enter the international consortia that will prepare projects for competitions within Cluster No. 6 "Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and the environment" of Horizon Europe programme was provided by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Nadiia Boyko – the Head of the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines, adviser to the Rector on Innovations at Uzhhorod National University. She also dwelt on the opportunities for research and teaching staff to participate in the EU GREEN project.
Participation in the competitions of Horizon Europe programme contributes to the expansion of research and innovation activities, deepening of cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign scientists.
