Scientists from the Institute of Public Administration summarized their assessment of specific development projects for Transcarpathia for 2025-2027
The Director of the Institute for Public Administration and Regional Development, Professor Volodymyr Prykhodko, and the Chairman of the Institute Scientific Council, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, Professor Mykola Palinchak, took part in the draft Action Plan for the Implementation of the Regional Development Strategy for the Period up to 2027 in 2025-2027 consideration, which defines the main problems and priorities of the socio-economic development of the region, strategic and operational goals. The working group, whose members and experts are scientists of the Institute, meets on a scheduled basis, systematically reviewing and updating the mechanisms for implementing the Strategy. This time, the selection of regional development projects and their inclusion in the Strategy Implementation Plan was summed up. The latest factors affecting the development of the region were taken into account: the activities of relocated enterprises, the movement of forcibly displaced persons to the region, including children, the elderly and people with disabilities, the return of military personnel from the front to civilian life, and many other challenges and opportunities created by the current difficult wartime. After the meeting and discussions, the finalized document will be sent by the regional authorities to the State Ministry of Community and Territorial Development for coordination with the mechanisms and resources of the State Strategy for Regional Development of Ukraine.
