More than 10,000 applications have already been submitted to UzhNU
The dynamics is good – over a period of the first 8 days of entrance campaign to Uzhhorod National University more than 10 thousand applications were submitted. Thus, the university has already received more than 60% of last year's volume of applications. Remember that submission of applications by different categories of applicants is extended to 20th or 27th of July inclusive.
The news for those entering medical specialities is extremely positive: "We are the only university in Ukraine where the number of state funded seats for medical specialties was increased. “For all other universities subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science or the Ministry of Healthcare the number of stated-funded seats remained the same as last year or was slightly reduced "- says Vololymyr Smolanka, the Rector of Uzhhorod National University.
Incidentally, medical specialities are undisputed leaders among entrants - more than 1,200 applications have already been submitted. In recent days, there is good dynamics of applying for pedagogical and philological specialties. Almost fifty applications have been submitted to the speciality "Law", among the leaders in the number of applications are also "International relations, public communications and regional studies", "Biology", "Psychology", "Tourism", "International Economic Relations", "History and archeology "and also IT professions. Correspondence study applicants give preference to "Secondary Education", "Journalism" and "Law".
