Dear colleagues, students, friends!
I am sending You the warmest Merry Christmas and Happy New Year wishes!
The bright holiday of Christmas – which for Christians marks the birth of Jesus, the Son of God - has been giving humankind faith in a better future for more than two millennia. It teaches us not to lose hope that the forces of good will ultimately triumph over evil, and encourages us to be merciful. In the conditions of russia's war of aggression against our country, this holiday is even more symbolic for all of us, because every Ukrainian’s strongest personal desire and a wish for their family and compatriots in the coming year is our Victory in this war and Peace and Freedom throughout Ukraine.
May the New Year 2023 be victorious in all senses: May Ukraine defeat its enemy. May all the people be strong enough to overcome the suffering and pain that the occupiers have brought to our land.
