Greetings from the Rector on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of UzhNU

Dear colleagues, students, alumni of UzhNU!

Today is the birthday of our alma mater - Uzhhorod National University. It has turned 78.

UzhNU is a modern European institution of higher education, which honours academic traditions and creates the future of the national education and science. Uzhhorod National University has been setting the pace and high standards of providing educational services to the youth, nurturing and educating new generations of young scientists for 78 years. Over the years, the university has trained thousands of graduates who have become successful specialists in various fields. Today, our alumni not only work, but also defend Ukraine on the battlefield.

I believe that by joint efforts we can overcome all the challenges of the difficult war time, restore confidence in the peaceful and successful future of our native Ukraine.

I wish the teachers happiness, creative enthusiasm, inspiration for their work, peace and faith in the victory. May fate be generous to them.

I wish the students to preserve and multiply the best traditions and assets of the university and proudly bear the title of a student of UzhNU!
