Certificates of the first All-Ukrainian School of Public Policy and Administration were presented to its participants in Vinnytsia

School participants were selected from among 89 applicants that had sent their motivation letters in October 2016, when this ambitious joint innovation of two universities – DonNU and UzhNU - began. The school was implemented as part of the direction "Innovative forms of internal academic mobility" of the "European Development of DonNU in Vinnytsia - 2016", supported by the International Renaissance Foundation and promoted by the NGO "Institute for Social Research and Political Analysis."

The official ceremony of presentation of certificates was attended by the representatives of Uzhhorod National University – Vice-Rector for Academic Policy and Research, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ihor Korol and assistant professor of the department of international studies and public communications, PhD in Political Science, director of the Center for Sustainable Development Hanna Melehanych, who had been one of organizers and trainers of the school along with the Vice-Rector for Academic Policy and Research of UzhNU Myroslava Lendel.

The first 15 graduates of the school are people of all ages and qualifications united by the desire to change local governments and governance and improve the life of modern society. 50% of them are experienced managers and executives.

The training programme of the first Ukrainian School of Public Policy and Administration lasted from October 29, 2016 to February 4, 2017. Its organizers announce that the application process to the second All-Ukrainian School of Public Policy and Administration.starts in October, 2017.
