The meeting of the Academic Council as of June 18 started with good news. Rector Volodymyr Smolanka presented the 3rd degree certificates "For services in geodesy and cartography" to Vitaliy Stasiuk, cups and diplomas to the winners of the 65th university sports contest to the teams and the deans of the Faculty of Physics (third place ), the Faculty of Economics (second place) and the Faculty of Healthcare (first place), and other awards.
53 members of the Academic Council present at the meeting voted for granting academic titles to 15 UzhNU scientists (more information can be found on the Media Center of UzhNU website). They also supported the proposal to petition for granting the title of Honored Worker of Education and Science of Ukraine to the Head of the Department of Accounting and Audit Professor Yosyp Dankiv.
