Pavlo Pavlovych Brekhlichuk - Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine and Oncostomatology, Faculty of Dentistry, Uzhhorod National University.

He studied at Lviv National Medical University named after D. Halytsky, which he graduated with honors.

Scientific activity: Author of more than 30 scientific and scientific-methodical works. In 2014, he defended his dissertation on "Assessment of the impact of disinfection methods on the quality and volume parameters of dental impression materials", which solves the important task of improving the provision of qualified dental care. He began his pedagogical activity at the Department of Surgical and Orthopedic Dentistry of the Faculty of Dentistry of Uzhhorod National University.

He currently lectures and conducts practical classes for students of the Faculty of Dentistry, majoring in Surgical Dentistry.

Therapeutic activities. As a doctor of the first category in the specialty "Surgical Dentistry", "Therapeutic Dentistry" and "Organization and Management of Health Care" conducts consultative and therapeutic reception of patients.

He is an active member of the Association of Implantologists of Ukraine. According to the decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Academic Council of Uzhhorod National University (Order №159 / 01-03 from 5.09.2011) on the reorganization of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Orthopedic Dentistry, from 1.09.2011 the Department of Surgical Dentistry, Maxillofacial Surgery and oncostomatology.

Training at the department is conducted by leading specialists in the field of surgical dentistry, of which professor (Goritsky VM), 3 associate professors (Brekhlichuk PP, Mochalov YO, Garlyauskaite IY), senior lecturer (Geley N. I., Geley VM) and 7 assistants (Petretska S.Yu., Domishche M.Yu., Korshinska MI, Getsko Yu.Yu., Vovchanska SV, Maryan-Yovbak V. Yu., Kolbasko LV). The material and technical support of the department is satisfactory, fully meets the requirements of the Bologna process, including the available computer class for 11 jobs.

Scientific and clinical bases of the department are:

• Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Hospital named after А.Новака;
• Department of Surgical Dentistry at the University Dental Clinic;
• Regional dental clinic;
• City oncology center.

All documentation at the department complies with the orders and regulations of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
