Department of Scientific and Research Work Organization
The Department of Organization and Implementation of Scientific Research provides scientific and organizational support for the execution of fundamental research and applied development projects funded by the state budget, as well as the implementation of commercial contracts and clinical trials.
The main functions of the research department include:
1. Planning, ensuring, and monitoring the implementation of the research and development thematic plan through:
2. Providing organizational support and consultation for the preparation of commercial contracts commissioned by institutions and organizations.
3. Preparing annual reports on the university's scientificactivities in accordance with current requirements and submitting them to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
4.Presenting annual statistical reports to the state statistical authorities.
5. Ensuring staffing for the university's scientific activities:
- Preparing orders regarding the personnel involved in research and development projects and civil law contracts for engaging personnel in scientific research.
- Maintaining the required personnel documentation as mandated by legislation (individual personnel records, employment records, etc.).
- Organizing and overseeing the work activities of research and development staff (approving work schedules, vacation schedules, etc.).
- Organizing the evaluation and certification of scientific and engineering-technical staff in accordance with existing requirements.
6. Facilitating the submission of candidates for:
- Scholarships from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.
- Awards from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists.
- Named scholarships from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists who hold a doctoral degree.
7. Compiling quarterly lists for the recognition of authors and author groups for articles published in journals included in the scientific metric databases Scopus and Web of Science, with an impact factor (IF) or Cite Score.
8. Developing the necessary regulatory and technical documentation to regulate and govern scientific research activities within the university and implement them into practice.
