The reform of administrative and territorial structure was discussed at UzhNU
The other day the second meeting of the Transcarpathian Discussion Club for Development and Reform “Intellectual Platform” was held at Uzhhorod National University. The topic of the event was the discussion of the reform of administrative and territorial structure of Ukraine (Transcarpathia was taken as an example), systemic reforms and pseudo reforms in our country, given the regional dimension and specific character of the region.
The meeting was opened by the vice-rector of the university Myroslava Lendel, who congratulated all present on the continuation of collaboration: "Let me remind you that our first meeting was held on January, 12 in the building of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, but later it was decided that we would gather in the premises of UzhNU every two weeks at the same time".
An expert of the Office for Reforms in the Transcarpathian region Oleh Luksha noted the relevance of the topic and its interdisciplinary character "We are starting work on making a systemic analysis of the problem today. The forces that are able to analyze the administrative division of our region and draw parallels between the past and the present as accurately as possible are concentrated in our university".
