Volodymyr Smolanka reported on last year’s work and achievements of UzhNU
On January 12th, 2016 during the meeting of UzhNU Labour Staff Conference the Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka presented his report on last year’s university activities and development dynamics.
"It is difficult to fit the information about the work that we accomplished together with you in 2015 into 20-25 minutes speech. The fact that Uzhhorod National University is the largest institution forming the intellectual potential of the region is undeniable"- began his report Mr.Smolanka.
He said that one of the main objectives was to increase the proportion of Doctors, Professors, Candidates of Sciences, and Assistant Professors,since it was one of the most important conditions for ensuring the quality of educational process. There was a positive dynamics in the process of awarding the university staff members with the academic titles of Professor and Assistant Professor last year. Thus, today 70% of the teaching staff of our university has got degrees and academic titles, which is a good indicator.
