Uzhhorod National University at the Launch of the Erasmus+ KA220 International Project “Bridges to Belonging: Integrating Ukrainian Students in European HEIs”
At the beginning of December, the inauguration transnational meeting of partner institutions implementing the large-scale project “Bridges to Belonging: Integrating Ukrainian Students in European HEIs” took place at the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business in Warsaw, Poland.
The representatives of the International Relations Department of Uzhhorod National University joined this European initiative during the preparation of the project proposal; they serve as coordinators of one of the five work packages.

Together with partners from the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business, Kaunas University of Technology, the Research Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business (The AUEB Research Center), and the Euro Lider Association, Uzhhorod National University is conducting student surveys, will be organizing focus groups, and will be involved in developing 10 training modules, ensuring that they meet the needs of higher education institutions. The project team is also coordinating the development of a manual for trainers.
The project team will focus on the training and, correspondingly, upskilling of lecturers to support displaced Ukrainian students, as well as on adapting learning materials to the Ukrainian context, taking into account the challenges caused by the war.

The main purpose of the meeting was to bring together the teams of partner institutions in a face-to-face format, which is essential for the effective implementation of joint project activities.
The successful launch in Warsaw demonstrated the readiness of all participants for productive cooperation, achievement of the project goals, and the promotion of high-quality integration of' Ukrainian youth into the European educational space.
