The Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka inspected the renovated premises of the medical faculty

This summer, major repairs have been done in some premises of the Faculty of Medicine. By September 1, 2018, current repairs of lecture rooms # 516, 517, 518, 519 and 526 and major repairs on the basement floor of the medical faculty have been completed.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Volodymyr Smolanka, the Rector of UzhNU, and the Vice-rectors Oleksandr Rohach and Dmytro Soyma visited the Faculty of Medicine. They met with the dean of the faculty Oleksandr Boldyzhar and inspected the renovated lecture rooms. Volodymyr Smolanka said: "If compared to the way the building of the faculty looked during our previous visit last winter, it looks much better now, especially due to the latest repairs and new furniture."

Dmytro Soyma, the Vice-rector for administrative affairs, told us that according to the approved plan for the repairs of UzhNU buildings, 28,531,000 UAH had been allocated for major repairs, including 1,500,000 UAH for the major repairs of the basement floor of the medical faculty.

 As regards the current repairs at the Faculty of Medicine, the renovation of lecture rooms # 516, 517, 518, 519, 526 has been completed. It is also planned to replace the old windows of the building of the faculty and renovate the facade. Design estimates are being prepared at the moment.
