Talented mathematicians and IT specialists are trained at the Faculty of Mathematics and Digital Technologies of UzhNU
The training of mathematicians at Uzhhorod University began on 1 September 1950, when 25 applicants became students of the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics for the first time. Over the years, the faculty has developed rapidly, becoming a separate subdivision of the university, and now, in addition to mathematicians, it trains IT specialists. The faculty team constantly keeps abreast of new developments in the IT field and implements them in the educational process. In our article, Dean Mykola Malyar talks about the relevance of the specialities of the Faculty of Mathematics and Digital Technologies and the prospects for education and employment of its graduates.

The specialities in which the Faculty of Mathematics and Digital Technologies trains specialists related to IT professions are promising areas that will change the rules of the game in the labour market in the near future, and graduates remain consistently successful.
Now is the time for the application of artificial intelligence in all spheres of public life, but specialists who know how to think logically have always been and will always be in demand and need.
The demand for the professions of our faculty's specialists will grow exponentially in all sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The faculty has always trained, is training and will continue to train highly qualified specialists.
