Students of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education will practice in one of the best rehabilitation centers of Slovakia
Student traineeship is one of the important aspects of studying, because it helps students to test their knowledge in real life conditions, and obtain new qualitative competences. That is the reason why the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of UzhNU has launched cooperation with one of the best health resorts of Slovakia “Kupele Visne Ruzhbachy” since the beginning of 2020 to organize the traineeship for students of physical therapy and ergotherapy of UzhNU which is a new specialism for Ukraine. The dean of the faculty Ivan Myronyuk told us about the opportunities provided to students by such cooperaton.
"In fact, there are no clinical rehabilitation centers of this kind in Transcarpathia. However, there are such centers in Slovakia, and “Kupele Vishne Ruzhbakhy” is one of the best in this country by many indicators.
This center meets high European standards, and to validate the results of the traineeship the higher educational institution sending its students must accredit and examine the institution where students will undergo their traineeship. Therefore, me and the Rector of UzhNU, Volodymyr Smolanka, examined the rehabilitation centers in Slovakia to see if they fit our goals. Then, on February 17-18, 2020, the head of the clinical rehabilitation center will visit UzhNU to meet the students of our faculty and tell them about all the advantages of doing traineeship in their center. Finally, on February 19, the first group of five students will go to Slovakia. They will stay there for a month. After that, new groups of five students will do the traineeship each month."
