Students of UzhNU have successfully begun their journey to Europe
On the night of the 12th of October, Uzhhorod National University students went on a trip to several European countries. Nearly one hundred students will visit such cities as Vienna, Paris, Milan during the journey
The head of UzhNU student trade union committee Rostyslav Holovchanskyi says that the trip was organized due to joint and coordinated work of the trade union committee and the student council of UzhNU. "This trip was initiated by active students. The trade union and the student council joined their efforts and got a great result. The announcement about the trip was published two months ago, and there were no vacancies in a few days, it means that we offered our students an interesting route."
In the evening of the next day, students arrived in the first capital - Vienna, which is famous for sausages, apple strudel, incredible palaces, galleries and museums. Students had free time in the cultural capital of Europe, and a lot of them visited museums, saw the historical monuments, galleries and exhibitions.
A student of the Faculty of Economics Maryna Khrypta says that duting the day she was able to enjoy the Vienna opera, the incredible Maria Theresa square, the charming St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the Gothic style, and saw a lot of architectural wonders. "Of course, one day is not enough for such a big city. Here you can wander and constantly find the places you haven’t been to yet. One can feel Vienna’s atmosphere in its shops, restaurants and charming streets. This is the city you want to return to."
The head of the student council of UzhNU Viktoriya Mykulianets says this isn’t her first time in Vienna and she can easily find her bearings in the central part of the city. "When visiting Vienna, everyone has to drink authentic Austrian coffee, visit museums, exhibitions and palaces, in particular, the Schonborn Palace, and buy some sweets in well-known Mozart stores. But the main thing, as for me, is to enjoy the atmosphere of a big city, which, however, does not hurry anywhere "- says Viktoriya.
Due to technical problems, the travelers were forced to leave Vienna a few hours later than planned, but it didn’t spoil their mood, because the next stop is Paris, which is considered to be the most romantic capital of the world. To be continued.
