Meeting with representatives of the International Visegrad Fund took place at UzhNU

On Monday, October 2, 2023, a meeting with Petr Mareš, the executive director of the Visegrad Fund, and project managers Yelyzaveta Synetska and Martin Marcina took place at UzhNU.

The meeting was opened by Myroslava Lendel, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research, who greeted the distinguished guests and also told about the experience of cooperation between UzhNU and the Visegrad Fund.

This was followed by a presentation of Visegrad+ grant opportunities, the Visegrad Scholarship Programme and training at the Open Society Archives. Yelyzaveta Synetska dwelt in detail on the procedure of registering grant applications and on the internship opportunities for young scientists.

There was also a meeting between the Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka and the executive director of the Visegrad Fund Petr Mareš. During the meeting, the prospects and main directions of the development of cooperation between UzhNU and the Visegrad Fund were discussed.
