Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich has become a partner of UzhNU

An international cooperation agreement between the the SRI for Ecclesiastical and State Law and Church and State Relations of UzhNU  and the Department of Public and Ecclesiastical Law  of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich was signed on September 23, 2015.

On behalf of the Rector of UzhNU, Professor Volodymyr Smolanka, the agreement was signed by the Director of the SRI for Ecclesiastical and State Law and Church and State Relations, Doctor of Theology, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Oleksandr Bilash (Archimandrite Yevfrosyn). On behalf of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich the agreement was signed by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Head of the Department of Public and Ecclesiastical Law, Professor, Doctor of Law Stefan Korioth.

The agreement is the result of a long-term coooperation between the two structural units of universities and is directed at the development of joint training and research projects. They have also announced that an agreement to hold joint international scientific conference on topical issues of ecclesiastical and state law at the Uzhhorod National University in the spring of 2017 has been reached.

During his visit to the University of Munich, Archimandrite Yevfrosyn also held meetings with Prof. Dr. Elmar Güthoff, Prof. Dr. Helmuth Pree, Prof. Dr. Stephan Haering and Prof. Dr. Christoph Levin.
