International students of Uzhgorod National University participated in Mini Football Championship in Kiev
On the 20-21st of March 2018 a National Mini-Football Championship among international students took place at Kiyv National University of Trade and Economics. A team from UzhNU participated in this competition which was dedicated to International Day of Antiracism. 
Big number of teams of international students have arrived to compete. Those were students from European University, Sumi State University (SSU), National University of Technology, Odessa National Medical University, Kiev National Trade and Economic University, National University of Physical Education and Sport.
Head coach and mentor of our team was a Senior Lecturer Mikhaylo Shkirta from Faculty of Sport and Physical education.
The first game resulted a victory for our students over a team of National University of Physical Education and Sport (Kiyv) as we’ve scored 7- 3. Next game gave us a top place in our group as we’ve defeated hosts of the tournament – students of Kiyv National University of Trade and Economics scoring 5-3.
Unfortunately, having a grate number of scoring moments in semi-final we’ve lost to a team of Sumi State University with a result of 2 – 3.
For a third place and a bronze medal we’ve met a team from KNUTE yet again scoring a confident 5 – 2.
For the first place a team from Sumi State University played with team of Odessa Natonal Medical University. A full time resulted a draw 3 – 3 followed by a series of penalties giving a well deserved win to guys from Sumi.
We proudly congratulate our team and a head coach for a winning bronze medals in this tournament.
