Dear colleagues!

 On the eve of our holiday - the Day of Knowledge – I congratulate students, doctoral students, teachers, researchers, all employees of Uzhhorod National University, its alumni, students’ parents, partners and friends on the beginning of the new academic year and wish everyone successful implementation of their plans and dreams in education, work, creativity, research and teaching career!

It’s very symbolic that the Day of Knowledge is the next holiday after the Independence Day in the calendar of public holidays of Ukraine. Knowledge and education are the ground for successful future, the development and social progress in which a new generation is formed, which, according to all parents’ dreams, should surpass their achievements.

I especially want to congratulate our first-year students who joined our big and friendly university family. Together we will successfully overcome the challenges of our turbulent but interesting life! Now you are students of one of the best universities of Ukraine, which is proud of its academic staff, scientific and technical base and its fundamental library, the university that is developing dynamically reaching the European standards.
