All-Ukrainian student debates took place in UzhNU

All-Ukrainian Student debates on sustainable development were held in UzhNU on the 14-16th of May.

As reported by the Mediacenter of UzhNU, our university was visited by the representatives of 14 higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

Various topics were enthusiastically debated by students. The strongest teams - the Team of Uzhhorod National University and the National University "Odessa Law Academy" – opposed each other in the final round.

Young intellectuals discussed the topic "The State must supervise the work of volunteer organizations and initiative groups that help to solve community problems". Odessa team had to defend this position, Uzhhorod team, on the contrary, had to refute it.

Participants put forward many arguments that were hard to confute. Even the jury noted that the game reminded of a real battle of the Titans. Finally, the victory was given to the representatives of Odessa, who, according to the jury, defended their position more convincingly.
