A discussion panel "Carpathian Ukraine: sources and interpretations" was held at UzhNU

A series of events dedicated to the 77^th anniversary of declaration of state independence of Carpathian Ukraine will be held at Uzhhorod National University in a week. A discussion panel on "Carpathian Ukraine: sources and interpretations" was held in the meeting hall of the Academic Council of Uzhhorod National University on March 9, 2016.

The event was initiated by the Transcarpathian regional organization of the Union for Promoting the Defense of Ukraine and held in cooperation with Uzhhorod Municipal Commissariat, Uzhhorod National University and the NGO "Community convention". The meeting was the first in a series of planned military-patriotic and educational activities.

The opening address was given by the Vice-Rector of UzhNU for Academic Policy and Research Myroslava Lendel, the event was moderated by a member of the community convention of Uzhhorod Euromaidan, a representative of the NGO "Community convention" Pavlo Homonay.
