49 dissertations were defended at UzhNU in 2016
One of the issues discussed at the meeting of the Academic Council of UzhNU was the activity of Specialized Dissertation Councils in 2016.
Currently, the university has 7 dissertation committees, including three committees for defense of doctoral thesis in mathematics, history and medicine (internal diseases). There are also committees for defense of PhD thesis in chemical, legal, medical and economic sciences. The number of academic councils for defense of thesis has increased since 2012. At that time there were only three committees, and today there are 7 councils at UzhNU. 49 dissertations were defended at UzhNU in 2016, including 1 doctoral dissertation.
The leaders are specialists in law - 24 dissertations and medicine - 10. 37% work for UzhNU, 28% work for other universities and institutions, 35% are practicing specialists.
