Uzhhorod National University, in collaboration with partners from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest (Romania), University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (Romania), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), and University of Porto (Portugal), is implementing the Erasmus+ international project "Gender, Digitalization, Green: Ensuring a Sustainable Futurefor all in Europe" (2023-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000154433). UzhNU is represented by the team of the Faculty of Information Technologies. Project manager:  Prof. Dr. Oksana Mulesa. Project team:  Prof. Dr. Igor Povkhan, PhD Olena Melnyk.

As part of the project, on May 6-7, 2024, UzhNU will host the international workshop " Characteristics of Green Technological Transformation in Accordance with EGD Vision" The aim of the workshop is to facilitate discussions among Ukrainian and international experts on key components of the European Green Deal (climate change, energy, transportation, industrial strategy, agriculture, zero pollution, biodiversity, finance, trade); exchange knowledge, experience, and innovations among participants from various sectors interested in the development of green technologies in line with the goals of the European Green Deal (EGD); and disseminate information about the dynamic EU action plan for Europe's transition to a climate-neutral continent by 2050.

The workshop will take place in a hybrid format: offline at Uzhhorod National University and online on the Zoom platform.

Following the workshop, a collection of scientific papers (electronic version) is planned for publication. All registered participants of the workshop will receive an electronic certificate.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
