Project name:Nursing without borders

Project objective: To promote the development of connections, exchange of experiences, and integration of Ukrainian youth into the European educational space through intercultural dialogue in order to improve the nursing education system according to international standards.
Project description:
With the aim of improving the quality of nursing education, changes are needed in acquiring professional competencies such as critical thinking, teamwork, clinical reasoning, communication skills, leadership, and interprofessional collaboration.This can be achieved through the intercultural dialogue between the youth of Ukraine and Poland within the framework of this project, as the development of international cooperation will promote the professional growth of nursing students, the integration of international standards, innovations in nursing practice, and the improvement of healthcare service quality.Participants in the project, by engaging in intercultural dialogue, joint scientific inquiry, and communication, will not only enhance their professional level but also develop an active civic position based on the principles of responsibility and respect for European values.The project will become an important step toward strengthening systemic cooperation between civil society organizations of Ukraine and Poland, particularly in the field of scientific and civic activities.
The main aims of the project:
- to analyze a youth exchange for Ukrainian and Polish students in the city of Łomża (Poland);
- to improve the training of young nursing specialists, enhance their critical thinking skills, support their personal and professional growth, and increase their competitiveness in the global labor market;
- to acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies, and to become familiar with the differences in informal education traditions in Poland;
- to broaden their awareness not only in their chosen field of knowledge but also within the range of interests represented by the youth of the partner country;
- to create a platform for sustainable exchange of experience between young people, activists, and representatives of civil society from both countries with the aim of developing dialogue, understanding, trust among youth, and exchange of experience;
- to outline priority directions for further interdisciplinary research that will contribute not only to the scientific growth of participants but also to the development of their potential as responsible, conscious citizens capable of engaging in socially important initiatives and international cooperation.
