"TOLERANCE AT THE EUROPEAN FRONTIERS: THE DIMENSION OF UKRAINE"
On October 4-5, 2018 an International scientific and practical conference “Tolerance at the European frontiers: the dimension of Ukraine” will take place.
The conference will start on October 4, at 10:00 in the Academic Council Hall of UzhNU (Narodna Square, 3).
Conference organizers: Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine), Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany).
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, German, English.
The main purpose of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of experience between Germany and Ukraine on the implementation of innovative projects in the educational sphere, aimed at forming political, ethnic and religious tolerance, skills of successful intercultural communication and conflict prevention.
The following topics will be discussed at the conference:
- Theoretical aspects of the study of tolerance in modern science.
- Origins and evolution of the concept of tolerance in world scientific thought.
- Interdisciplinary studies of the phenomenon of tolerance.
- The German experience of forming a space of tolerance.

- Projecting the space of tolerance: practices of interaction.
