The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine has published the primary specialization program 'General Medical Practice' for foreign students
The primary specialization program 'General Medical Practice' (hereinafter - the Program) is intended for training foreigners and stateless persons (hereinafter - the specialization program). The program defines the content of training in specialization, establishes the requirements for the scope and level of training of foreigners and stateless persons.
The program is developed in accordance with the normative documents of the National Medical Commission (Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship) Regulations (New Delhi, India, 2021), the Regulation on the Approval of Doctors in accordance with the Federal Laws (2023, Federal Republic of Germany), the requirements of the medical chambers of the Republic of Poland, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated June 22, 2021, No. 1254 'On the approval of the Regulation on the Internship,' registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on August 17, 2021, under No. 1081/36703, the Law of Ukraine 'On Higher Education' and other normative documents that regulate the training of specialists in the field of knowledge 'Healthcare' at the postgraduate stage, taking into account the requirements for postgraduate training of general practitioners-family doctors of the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies, and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians (WONCA) and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) 2013.
Training under the primary specialization program 'General Medical Practice' at the relevant clinical departments of higher / postgraduate education institutions involves clinical work at base institutions for 12 months (1872 hours; 52 weeks, 62.4 ECTS credits).
