Representatives of the Faculty of Law of UzhU took part in the international conference TEIN-BIG 2026 in Belgium
On 6-7 October 2026, the international conference TEIN-BIG 2026 "Governing at the Border: Norms, Rules, Cross-Border and Transnational Practices; from Citizen to Institution" was held in the Belgian city of Mons. The event brought together scholars and practitioners from various countries to discuss how the role of borders is changing, what challenges border regions face, and how to develop cross-border cooperation.

How can cross-border cooperation be made more effective, overcome legal and administrative barriers and ensure the long-term development of border regions? These issues were central during the General Assembly of the Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network (TEIN), which took place on 5 October 2026 in the Belgian city of Mons. Representatives of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod University also joined the discussion on the future of European cross-border cooperation.
