Scholars of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod University visited Ghent University in Belgium

As part of a working visit to Belgium, scholars of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod University Vadym Pishta and Yuliia Fetko visited Ghent University, where they met with researchers of the Faculty of Law and Criminology — Dr. Alina Cherviatsova and Prof. Gustavo Prieto Muñoz.

Previously, scholars of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod University took part in the international educational programme Academy4UA, which Ghent University implements within the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme. The initiative is aimed at deepening the knowledge of Ukrainian teachers and researchers in the field of EU law and policy. The project coordinator is Dr Alina Cherviatsova.

During the visit, the scholars familiarized themselves with the organization of the work of the Faculty of Law and Criminology, its educational and research infrastructure, as well as the conditions for studying and conducting scientific research.

During the meeting, current issues of scientific research in the field of cross-border cooperation and European integration were also discussed.
