UzhNU celebrated the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine
On January, 22 on the occasion of the Day of Conciliarism of Ukraine Uzhhorod public convention, Transcarpathian regional organization of the Society for Promoting the Defense of Ukraine with the support of the administration of Uzhhorod National University presented the exhibition "People's War".
The museum exhibition consisted of the display stands with documents and photographs depicting various stages of the period of the liberation struggle of Ukrainian people, including years 1917-1922. The guide was an employee of Kyiv city organization "Memorial" Hryhoriy Roy.
Pupils of Uzhhorod schools were guided into the history of our country. The guide told the audience about historical events from the time of awakening of Ukrainians’ national consciousness, state formation, the epoch of Central Rada, Hetmanate, Directory, West Ukrainian People’s Republic to the period of occupation of Ukrainian lands by Bolsheviks.
