Greetings on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine

Dear university community!

The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is a day of deep gratitude, respect and unconditional pride for each and every one who holds our shield. This is a holiday of those thanks to whom we have the opportunity to live, work, teach and study on our native land.

Today, among those who with weapons in hand are fighting for Ukraine's freedom on the front line, there are many of our students, teachers, graduates and staff. You are our highest pride and an example of unbreakable spirit. Your feat enables us to hold the educational and scientific front, to preserve and multiply the intellectual potential of our state.

We bow our heads in deep sorrow for those heroes who gave for Ukraine's freedom the most precious thing — their lives. Their feat is forever inscribed in the history of our state and our university. May their memory be bright and eternal.

I sincerely thank everyone who daily brings our Victory closer: those who fight on the front line, who volunteer, support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and maintain resilience in the rear.

I wish every defender strong health, endurance, a reliable rear and the soonest return home to their families and to peaceful student life.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
