On the appeal to the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region and the Chief of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region

In late 2014, having pursued an internal investigation Uzhhorod National University appealed to the police with the request to investigate the facts of unlawful receipt of SHEI "Uzhhorod National University” diplomas by the graduates of the International Institute of Business and Law in Prague.

Despite a long period of time that has passed since then, the case has not yet been properly investigated by the police department of Uzhhorod. Taking into consideration the failure of the police to investigate the violation, responsibility for the international image of Ukraine and public response caused by the controversial statement of the Minister of Education Serhiy Kvit about fake diplomas issued to foreign students by ex-managers of the university, our duty is to appeal to the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region and the Chief of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region with a request to take appropriate measures for the proper investigation of the criminal proceedings  registered in December, 2014.
