Presentation of books by Vasyl Vovk

On Thursday, 5 November, at 14.00 in the reading hall of the Scientific Library of Uzhhorod University (14 Universytetska St.), a presentation will be held of books by the Ukrainian military and public figure, Major General of Justice, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine, Candidate of Legal Sciences Vasyl Vovk.
The first book - “Security Service of Ukraine: The Holodomor of 1932-1933 – Genocide of the Ukrainian People” - recounts the events connected with the preparations for the SBU's launch of a global investigation into the tragic events of the Holodomor, as well as the vicissitudes of the pre-trial investigation and court examination of this large-scale crime against the Ukrainian people.
The second book - “Diary of an Undeclared War: Through Sloviansk to Paris across the Battlefields” - describes the events of 2014-2015 in Eastern Ukraine, when the author headed the Main Investigation Directorate of the SBU and personally took part in special operations against the Russian occupiers during the ATO.
The presentation will be attended by students and lecturers of the faculties of: social sciences, international economic relations, law, history and international relations, as well as all those interested.
