International Conference for Educators EdYOUFest Uzhhorod

Valid until
On 9 October 2026 at 10.00, the international conference for educators EdYOUFest Uzhhorod will be held in the large hall of the University Academic Council.
This year's conference theme — "Human Intelligence in the Age of Technology" — opens one of the most important and at the same time most complex conversations that the educational community is having today: how to preserve the human dimension of education in a world of rapid technological development.
The co-organisers of the conference are the Scientific and Educational Institute of Multidisciplinary Research SMART City, the Department of Applied Linguistics of Uzhhorod National University, and the Academy of Culture and Arts.
The conference programme includes three plenary sessions:
Daniel Xerri — "Educators on the Front Lines of Armed Conflict: Well-being, Roles, and Agency";
Rachel Marie Paling — "Consciousness: The Missing Dimension in Pedagogy";
Natalia Liashko — "Reclaiming the Classroom for Human Connection and Real Communication".
During the day, participants will have the opportunity to explore new ideas, exchange practical experience, and communicate with colleagues from Ukraine and the wider international educational community.
The event will conclude with a solemn closing ceremony, which will include a cultural programme by students of the Academy of Culture and Arts.
