European universities were discussing joint educational programmes at UzhNU

The second meeting of the International Consortium of Universities, where joint educational programs in the context of European integration of education were discussed, took place on October 18th, on the day of celebrating the 71st anniversary of Uzhhorod National University.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka who introduced UzhNU to the guests from six European countries – founders of the Consortium. Representatives of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, Technical University of Kosice, National University "Ostroh Academy", DonNU, Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania), Higher Business School - National Louis University (Novy Sonch, Poland), the delegations of the University of Presov (Slovakia), Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland), Vasile Goldis Western University of Arad (Romania), Technical University of Kluj-Napoca (Romania) participated in the meeting. The guests introduced their universities and perspective directions for cooperation.
