Within the walls of the Mukachevo campus of Uzhhorod University, the III International Training Course on Correction of Limb Deformities was held, dedicated to modern methods of treating complex orthopaedic pathologies using circular external fixation devices.
The event brought together Ukrainian and foreign specialists for professional training, practical preparation and exchange of experience. The course programme included lectures and practical sessions aimed at improving the professional competencies of physicians and developing international cooperation on the basis of the university.
This experience was especially valuable for the female students of the specialty "Secondary Education (English Language and Foreign Literature)", who had the opportunity to try themselves in the role of translators and to apply their knowledge of English in conditions of real professional communication.
First-year students Anastasiia Lohoioda, Maryna Molnar, Veronika Tsifrynets, Neonila Hrabar, as well as second- and third-year students Evelina Kabatsii and Ivanna Stankovych joined the English-language support of the event. They assisted in communication between the participants and foreign instructors, and during the practical part of the course they translated questions and answers, facilitating effective interaction among the specialists.
The university creates opportunities for learning through real experience, supporting interdisciplinary interaction, international partnership and the professional development of student youth.
